At ground floor, a full width extension, clad in a rich Accoya finned cladding with large cantilevered Zinc roof, houses a reconfigured kitchen and dining area.
The unique roof form creates a vaulted internal space which is capped with a frameless glass rooflight to increase the natural daylight levels at the rear of the dwelling.
Slimline glazed external sliding pocket doors, slide back into the external timber clad wall to create a fully openable aperture which creates an enhanced connection with the newly landscaped garden area.
A polished concrete floor compliments the external natural timber cladding and Zinc roof to create a unique and contemporary extension to the house.
On the upper floors all bathrooms and rooms were all renovated. Contemporary tiles and concrete fixtures and fittings have been used throughout, echoing the modern language of the extension.
At roof level the existing bedroom is split into two and the existing bathroom renovated.
To harmonise with the ground floor extension, the dormer is clad in finned Accoya, Zinc, with new replacement aluminium windows.
